ESPN Source: Wolves, Grizzlies near trade
The Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves are close to swapping first-round draft picks, a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells ESPN.com's Andy Katz.

The Grizzlies would send their 25th and 28th overall picks to Minnesota for the Timberwolves' 16th pick.

I was going to guess what this means, but with Kahn in charge, nobody knows what it means.

Could mean the Wolves are trying to move up to #2. #4 and #16 for the 2 is appealing, possibly. I’d ask for a future first also because im greedy.

The Wolves already have the #4 and #16 picks, though.

This would get them: 4, 23, 25, 28, 45, 56. That’s a SHIT load of picks (and I don’t swear that often, so you know I’m not lying).

no way they keep them all, even with people like Seraphin being drafted. Expect people like the Mavs, Cavs, or Cats to get in the first round if this trade indeed happens.
