Othyus Jeffers had a double double/Larry Owens had a double
“No Days Off” was the mentality that two former D-leaguers brought to their game on April 9, 2011. Othyus Jeffers and Larry Owens, seized the opportunity to really showcase their talents. It was obvious that they had something to prove. Jeffers looked like he was a man on a mission throughout the game and seemed to want to establish that he belonged in the NBA.
Jeffers ended the game with a double-double, 13 points and 11 rebounds – 9 of those points were from defensive rebounds. Owens finished with 10 points. He demonstrated that he could shoot the basketball pretty well. Statistically he went 4 for 8 from the field and 2 for 3 from the three point line. This was a job well done for the former D-Leaguers.
