I'll simply add that it's expected to be a 3-game assignment, starting Wednesday night against the Dakota Wizards and finishing Saturday after a back-to-back with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Yeah...
The NBA really needs to look at something like minor league option years in baseball. I’m convinced that teams are just afraid of burning up their assignments too soon. If the Suns would have sent him down earlier, they could have another player in game shape available for the playoff push right now. Sigh.
