Team Draft Review: Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are currently in a limbo if they should start to become younger and rebuild aorund Rajon Rondo or if they should keep the big three of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce together for another title run. With the 19th pick in the draft the Celtics selected combo guard Avery Bradley out of Texas. I am in love with this pick because he should be ready to contribute immediately behind Rondo or playing beside. He has the potential to be one of the top 10 best players in this draft five years from now and his basement is a Shannon Brown type of player. He helps immediately by adding athleticism and scoring.
With the 52nd pick they selected Luke Harangody out of Notre Dame. He was a prolific scorer and rebounder in college but is not very tall or fast. But as history shows us if a guy can put up huge numbers he is worth a second round pick ( Paul Millsap). He likely will not help the Celtics this season but could be the type of practice player in the mold of Brian Scalabrine and eventually develope into the role of Glen Davis.
Overall grade for the Celtics: A-
This could easily become and A+ if Avery Bradley develops point guard skills or turns into a high scoring six man and if Luke Harangody sticks past training camp.

i like Boston's picks too
i agree with you, Bradley could develop into a top ten player from this draft. Doc Rivers and his staff have shown that they can develop talent at the Guard position (Rondo). and Harangody is a logical pick to provide frontcourt depth. solid picks for the Celts.
