Marcus Cousin Will Not Get A 2nd 10-Day Contract With The Utah Jazz
From the Deseret News:
The Jazz announced today that center Marcus Cousin — not to be confused with Kings' forward DeMarcus Cousins — will not be re-signed to a second 10-day contract now that his first one is up.
He joined Utah in Toronto last Wednesday when bigs Mehmet Okur (back), Kyrylo Fesenko (back), Francisco Elson (ankle/knee) and Paul Millsap (knee) were all sidelined with health setbacks, but everyone but Okur is now back to full strength.
Cousin played in four games with the Jazz since being called up from the Austin Toros of the D-League. He averaged 1.0 point and 0.8 rebound in 4.5 minutes an outing. His best game was a four-point, two-rebound showing against Minnesota on March 11.
He immediately regains his spot as one of the top bigs in the D-League, but I can't help but wonder if he got to keep his jersey?
